Well this California Daytona Spyder by Tom McBurnie being offered is exactly like that one. The McBurnie Body is currently sitting and on a clean C3 Corvette donor car (not running), but can be removed and installed on another Vette.
For those who don't know the history, Tom McBurnie built the Original cars used on the hit show MIAMI VICE for detective Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) therefore making this kit one of the most recognized and desirable cars, ever.
Please note although this car WAS NOT used in the show, it is a "True Tom McBurnie Kit", showing the McBurnie name embossed inside the hood and driver side rocker panel (see pictures)
These kits sold back in the 80's for close to $9,000 without a donor car.
