I have been restoring the chassis and drive chain on a 67 VW for years in hope of finding a new donor body. I have recently come across two that I am interested in. One is a CMC Speedster C kit that believe it or not is still in the crate unpacked and I can get it for under 1000.00. I have also looked at a 57 Oval window about 50 restored (body work mostly which is good because that is what I am most interested in).I have two questions:
1) Love to hear others opinions about the two choices.
2) If anyone knows someone in the Washington DC, Maryland, VA area that can chopped the frame and linkage. |
